The Sharjah Eid Musalla, also known as the Sharjah Eid Prayer Ground, is a significant religious site in Sharjah, one of the emirates in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is a place where Muslims gather to perform special prayers known as Eid prayers during the Islamic holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha are two of the most important Islamic festivals celebrated by Muslims worldwide. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, and Eid al-Adha commemorates the willingness of the prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.
