Sharjah Police Impounded Vehicle Yard

Sharjah Police first came into existence in 1967 as General Security and Police Force under the decree of the then Sharjah ruler, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Alqasimi. Initially, the force started as a local department affiliated to and directed by Sharjah Ruler and supervised by police stations and the general security chief. The position of General Security Chief was then assumed by H.H. Sheikh Saqar Bin Mohd. Al Qasimi and the position of Sharjah Police Director was assigned to one of Sharjah’s qualified citizens Col. Abdullah Juma Al Saree. The Sharjah ruler also entrusted Mr. Burner from Oman British Coast to supervise and train the force in addition to assigning Mr. Abdullah Juma Al Saree as his assistant.
